Developed Thumbnails and Second Paper Modelling Mock-ups

Now I had evaluated my initial thumbnails, I needed to work on creating a house style that would join the posters together. Taking inspiration from G.F. Smith, the client of the project, I decided to create a circular frame around the models, drawing attention to the stop in their logo. This circle would act as a unifying style across each poster but also give depth as it will be placed in the foreground.

Using some repeated designs and some new, I created thumbnails and then paper modelled mock ups to evaluate the continuity and overall aesthetic.

These mock-ups are far more successful than the previous, with the circular frame not only providing continuity creating shadows that add depth and alignment for the design. However, there is still a lack of house style between some of the elements, specifically the Grecian temple design. This design is more detailed than the other designs, and doesn't follow the simple paper modelled designs of the others that focus primarily on the visual of the paper itself. Despite this, the design is successful in representing its element, thus I decided to create designs using architecture as the concept and the ability for individual buildings to present design principles.
